Large mid-century sunburst wall mirror from the 1950s, constructed entirely from carved wood with a gilt gold finish. At the center, the circular mirror measures 31 cm (12.20 in) in diameter, surrounded by an inner border carved with sculpted waves in high relief. Radiating outward from this central frame is a dense, multi-tiered array of carved wooden rays detailed with longitudinal channels that capture and reflect ambient light.
